If you have played cricket in this area in the last 70 years then your name is most likely in the book. If not, then the names of a relative or players that you played with and against will surely be there.

The book celebrates almost 100 years of competition cricket in the Camden District, taking in the local government areas of Camden, Campbelltown and Wollondilly.

It is written by Neville Clissold. He is uniquely positioned to do so. His playing career in the district spanned 45 years, including 28 seasons in first grade. In addition he has umpired for more than 10 years.  Neville has unearthed the statistics for every year and reproduced them in the book. As well, he has talked to many of the best players of the last 60 years and inserted brief biographies of them. All this added up to a tome of over 280 pages.

The book will be launched at the Raby Sports Complex on December 1 at 11.30.
